LSU Defeats NORFC
The Tigers defeated the New Orleans RFC this past Saturday in an exhibition match by a score of 33 - 10. LSU controlled the pace of the game with structured play and field management. Strong defensive efforts kept New Orleans in check, while Flyhalf Adam Davis padded the score with penalty kicks.
LSU's second side competed in a Deep South Tournament on the same day and won both of their matches against Western Florida University and Loyola University. The solid play through both games attests to the depth of the Tigers' program.
This weekend, the club prepares to host Tulane in a Firday evening matchup at 7:00. Saturday will see a LSU's second side facing Georgia Southern at 9:00 am. Both are to be played at the SAC fields.
