SEC CHAMPIONS
The Tigers successfully defended both their SEC titles sunday afternoon. Roused by a spectacular display of skill and heart during the second division championship between LSU Gold and Tennessee B, the LSU Purple Side faced off against Tennessee A. The Tigers downed the Vols 25-3 in the final. Overall, the Purple side outscored opponents 120-17. The Gold side racked up a similarly lopsided score.
LSU now enters a winter break from matches, but the team is developing a workout plan for the coming months. The Tigers are eagerly awaiting matrix play in the spring beginning with an intense matchup with rival Texas A&M.
